East Rutherford, NJ – On an autumn and crispy Sunday, New England Patriots QB Tom Brady became the fifth quarterback in NFL history to pass for over 60,000 yards as he rallied his team to a 22-17 win over the New York Jets.

Against New York, Brady threw for 286 yards and two touchdowns. Trailing 17-16 and with 1:56 remaining in the game, Brady threw his second touchdown and eventual game-winner to WR Malcolm Mitchell.

In defeating the Jets, Brady also collected his 200th overall career win. In the regular season, Brady now has 178 wins. In postseason play, the Patriots QB has 22 wins. With a 9-2 record, the Patriots are poised to make a strong postseason run.

For the 3-8 Jets, not so much. Following Sunday’s diastrous ending to a competitive game, their season is over. The best the Jets can do right now is finish with an 8-8 record. As hard as they played, their best wasn’t enough to overcome New England.

Against New England, QB Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for two touchdowns as he completed 22-of-32 passes for 269 yards. Jets WR Brandon Marshall finished with six receptions for 67 yards and one touchdown. Complimenting Marshall was WR Quincy Enunwa who finished with five receptions for 109 yards and one touchdown.

As valiant as the Jets effort was on Sunday, turnovers and lack of defense were their recipe for disaster. With the postseason out of touch, the only thing the Jets can play for is pride. With that said, here’s some post game quotes….
