SECAUCUS, NJ – A lucky breeze blew all the way from the Windy City to New Jersey. The Bulls vaulted from the ninth spot to win the NBA Draft Lottery in Secaucus, N.J. on Tuesday and secure the first pick in the June 26 NBA Draft.

Chicago, which had a 1.7 percent chance of winning, was represented by Executive Vice President, Business Operations Steve Schanwald. The Heat, which had the best odds of securing the top selection, will pick second followed by the Timberwolves and Sonics.

The following are the results from the 2008 NBA Draft Lottery, which was conducted Tuesday at NBA TV’s studio in Secaucus, New Jersey. The Chicago Bulls, who had a 1.7 percent chance of obtaining the first selection, will have the first overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, which will be held in New York City at The WaMu Theater at Madison Square Garden on Thursday, June 26, 2008.
