New York, NY – Life is so full of crossroads that even its crossroads have crossroads of their own. Take a moment to reflect on your own journey. Growing up, what did you want to become? Did you succeed? If not, what did you become?

What we aspire to become and what we end up becoming can be the complete opposite of what we had hoped for. Not all crossroads are good. Then again, not all crossroads are bad. Much like the universe, crossroads are very much indifferent. The only difference is you.

Don Draper I’m not but if crossroads were to serve a purpose, my guess is that they simply serve as a reminder who we are to the core. No matter how much we change over the years, there’s always a trait that never leaves our side.

Take Dominick Reyes for example. No matter what he does with his life, he will always be an athlete. A few years ago, this young man was a defensive back standout for Stony Brook. For much of his life, he had aspirations of playing in the NFL.

At 6’4 and over 200lbs, the Seawolves’ former team captain had the speed as evidenced by his 4.59 40-yard dash, the work ethic and mental toughness to play the defensive back position as he became the team’s all-time leading tackler. So what happened?
