Bronx, NY – The most popular sport throughout the world is, by far, soccer.

Thus, the recently formed MLS team that will represent New York City, the NYC FC, has signed players from diverse geographic areas throughout the globe, Colombia, Ecuador, England, Ghana, Japan, Norway, Slovakia and Spain. In addition to these natives of Africa, Asia, Europe and South America, there are several players on the team who were born in the New York metropolitan area.
