Lucha Underground: Mysterio vs. Mundo

on

Lucha Underground LOGOFlushing, NY – Please allow me to introduce myself, I’m at Citi Field covering tonight’s game between the New York Mets and Arizona Diamonds. After six innings of baseball, the Mets are losing 6-1 to their rattlesnake rivals.

Outside of Amed Rosario’s third home run of the season, tonight’s game has been relatively boring. In other news, UFC Fighter Jon “Bones” Jones tested positive for steriods.

As a result, he’s been stripped of his recently won UFC Light-Heavyweight Title. I’ve said before and I’ll say it again, “The only individual who has ever defeated Jon Jones is Jon Jones.

The only thing that can make my night here at Citi Field a winner is if Mets pitcher Jerry Blevins is called out from the bullpen. His entrance song, the Rolling Stones classic, “Sympathy for the Devil,” is a fantastic entrance song… the best in Major League Baseball. With that said, here’s a preview of tomorrow’s episode of Lucha Underground…

Synopsis: Sound the alarm on the all new “Lucha Underground” as the last two standing battle for the Cueto Cup. Bad blood runs cold when Johnny Mundo threatens Dario Cueto, who’s the real king of the temple?

With titles on the line and nothing left to lose, find out who the real Lucha Underground Champion is when Johnny Mundo and Rey Mysterio leave it all in the ring Wednesday, August 23rd at 8:00PM ET.

Don’t miss new one-hour episodes of the lucha libre wrestling series from Emmy Award®-winning producer Mark Burnett Wednesdays at 8:00PM ET on El Rey Network.
