Nets Say “Good Bye Jorge”

Nets Mexican player, Jorge Gutierrez career in Brooklyn has ended.

The Nets traded him along with Russian Andrei Kirilenko to the 76’ers for forward Brandon Davies.

The future of one Mexican player in the NBA  is uncertain because the sixers have no place in their present squad for another point, or shooting guard.

Gutiérrez saw little activity under the guidance of new coach Lionell Hollins, who inherited the Chihuahuan born players from his predecessor, Jason Kidd.

The Mexican national team players was about to be cut before the start of the season, but eventually achieved a roster spot in Brooklyn. However he just saw 44 minutes of action in nine games, averaging 1.8 points in 4.3 minutes per game.
