Puerto Rico Loses To Venezuela


The Cangrejeros de Santurce repping Puerto Rico in the 2015 Caribbean Series lost 5-2 to Venezuela in the second game of the Series at Hiram Bithorn Stadium before more than 10,000 fans present.

The Puerto Rican team will face the Tomateros of Culiacan Mexico, who defeated Cuba 2-1 in the first game of the tournament.

Venezuelan starter Daryl Thompson pitched to the victory by only allowing three singles and one run in six innings. Puerto Rican pitcher, Geovani Soto was the losing pitcher giving up five runs in four innings of action.
