New York, NY – On Saturday, November 12, the Ultimate Fighting Championship [UFC] will make it’s Madison Square Garden debut. Touted as the biggest card in the Mixed Martial Arts [MMA] organization history, Saturday’s card is stacked and full of promise.

Featuring three title fights in the octagon, UFC 205 has the potential to shatter Pay-Per-View [PPV] records and demonstrate to the world why MMA belongs in New York City.

In order to kick things off, the UFC has scheduled several events open to the public. On Wednesday, the day after Election Day, fans and media members were invited to an open workout. Basically, it’s an exhibition session where the fighters are showing off their skills.

Featuring all six fighters from the three championship main events, fans were delighted to see small preview of their athletic skills. In addition, majority of the fighters interacted with their fans as they signed autographs and took several selfies with.

Overall, the open workout was a relaxing and entertaining event. The fighters were appreciative of the fans and their awe of competing in the first UFC Card in NYC was noticeable. Out of all the fighters who talked, UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor closed the open workout with a colorful and clever quote.

The man who will have the opportunity to be a duo-champion boldly declared, “Saturday night I’ll be immortal.” Of course, he’s going to have defeat the current UFC Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez. Words are great but in MMA, it comes down to action.
