WrestleMania29 Weekend Soccer Edition

New York – This weekend’s soccer edition is dedicated to WrestleMania 29.  Created by World Wrestling Entertainment CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon, the first WrestleMania took place on March 31, 1985 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Headlining that card was Hulk Hogan, Mr. T, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Paul Ordoff and the Iron Sheik to name a few.

Over the years, it’s the annual event where fans from all ages, nationalities, economic status get together to cheer or jeer the superstars who represent the WWE today. Whether they’ll be watching the annual event at the MetLife Stadium over in New Jersey, at a pub, at home with friends and families, eyes will be glued.

Will CM Punk become “The One in 20-1” when he faces the Undertaker tonight? Will John Cena path towards redemption be successful when he faces the part-time WWE Champion, The Rock for the WWE Championship in a rematch from last year’s WrestleMania? Will Alberto Del Rion silence Zeb Coulter if he’s able to defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Jack Swagger?

Will we witness Dolph Ziggler cash his “Money in the Bank” briefcase? And speaking of cashing in, will the team of Team Hell (Daniel Bryan & Kane) lose to Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston (w/ AJ Lee) tonight? Can the Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns) doe out justice to the team of Sheamus, Randy Orton & Big Show in their six-man tag team match?

Does Triple H’s wrestling care end tonight after his “No Holds Barred” match against former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar? What role will Paul Heyman play in this match? Speaking of roles, can Chris Jericho’s match against Fandango be the best match of the night? Or will Ryback and Mark Henry steal the show?

Who’s really interested in the Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay & Tensai) and The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) vs. Team Rhodes Scholars (Cody Rhodes & Damien Sandow) and The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) Eight–person mixed tag team match? Am I only one that the Miz and Intercontential Champion Wade Barrett are going to battle it out for the title again? Where’s Antonio Cesaro tonight because he’s too talented not to be in the card.

So many questions with answers that will be answered later tonight. If you love the WWE, have a blast watching tonight’s WrestleMania!  With that said, let’s go to the results!
