Bronx, NY: Many Boricua and baseball fans in general have wondered why has there not been a movie on Roberto Clemente? I mean let’s face his story has so many episodes that would easily grab anyone’s attention, baseball fan, or not.
Though there has been much interest in doing a Clemente movie from as far back as I remember, for a variety of reasons it could never happen. That’s for another story and perhaps another movie. The fact is that finally it appears that something on the Great One, Roberto Clemente might be seen on the large movie screen.
