Coral Gables, Florida (VIP-WIRE) – Alguien quiso demostrar, a través de las redes sociales, saber más de beisbol y de los Dodgers, que el mánager Dave Roberts, que el lanzador Clayton Kershaw y que los periodistas de Los Ángeles.
Por supuesto, ahí escribe todo el mundo, incluso quienes no saben escribir y también los ignorantes acerca del béisbol.
Porque Roberts sacó a Kershaw después de la séptima entrada, cuando tiraba el juego perfecto, el personaje en cuestión, intentó armar un escándalo, pero no pudo.
Es que ignora el ignorante cómo Kershaw estuvo seis meses inactivo, tres de la temporada anterior y todo el invierno, por dolencias en el codo y por el tratamiento requerido; ignora el ignorante que apenas comienza la temporada y deben cuidarse los lanzadores, especialmente si son tan valiosos como Kershaw; ignora el ignorante que la misión en Grandes Ligas no es proteger juegos perfectos, sino ganar juegos; ignora el ignorante que Roberts ha sido un mánager brillante, demostrado por su constancia en las postemporadas.
Ignora el ignorante que después de ese juego, Kershaw, muy sonriente, dijo ante los reporteros…: “Yo sabía que mi número de pitcheos no iba a ser de cien. Además, estamos aquí para ganar juegos, no para egoísmos de logros personales. Lo que hizo el mánager fue lo correcto, ya yo había hecho 80 lanzamientos”.
Ignora el ignorante que, aún cuando, por el bullpén, no fue un juego perfecto, los Dodgers ganaron a los Twins, 7-0. Lanzador ganador, Clayton Kershaw, 7 entradas, 13 ponches. ¡Solo ocho outs hicieron los demás!.
Ignora el ignorante que tratar de hacerse famoso cuando no se tiene con qué, es un peligro tremendo.
Ignora el ignorante que la decisión de Roberts, apoyada por Kershaw, no sorprendió a nadie conocedor del beisbol, porque era lo lógico, lo aconsejable, lo sano, lo apropiado, lo sabio.
Ignora el ignorante cómo buscar en los registros las veces que los Dodgers han llegado a la postemporada, desde que Roberts es el mánager.
Por supuesto que disfrutamos de la libertad para ser todo lo ignorante que nos provoque, y hasta para exhibirnos así en las redes sociales.
Y yo estoy en la obligacion, ante mis lectores, de escribir acerca de quienes dirigen y juegan bien al beisbol.
Confieso, lo reconozco públicamente, que también soy muy ignorante… pero no tanto.
