They already have those who will write those Chapters of the book with the lives of 50 Venezuelan bigleaguers.

Román G. from Gatineau Québec city Canada asks…: “For his election to the Hall of Fame, will Albert Pujols be harmed for taking years off; And why didn’t Vidal López play in the Major Leagues, when, according to what I read, he destroyed the leagues where he played, Venezuela, Cuba, Mexico and Puerto Rico with hits? ”
Friend Jeffie …: It has nothing to do with age with Cooperstown. Many other players have taken years off like him. As for Vidal, we were great friends. I watched him play many times. You don’t quote that he was also a tremendous pitcher. After he retired, we worked together at the Junquito Police School, he as a team manager at that institution and I as a professor of human relations. He didn’t play in the major leagues, because he was black and was born early. By the time Jackie Robinson came to the Dodgers in 1947, Vidal was already 29.
Ronald Pájaro, from Caracas, asks…: “On which rule did they base to qualify the no hit of Mádison Bumgarner as ‘unofficial’, since it is in seven innings, if they have officially established that double games, as was that case Will it be seven innings?
Friend Ron…: As Commissioner Rob Manfred and his accomplices on the television stations know very little about baseball, they imposed that of seven innings in double games without thinking about what the Rule mandates…: “For a pitcher, or a team, to be crediting a ‘no hit’ it must be at least nine innings ”.
That means, if the game has been set to seven innings, it must go to extra-innings and go as far as ninth for it to count.

Ya tienen a quienes escribirán esos Capítulos del libro con la vida de 50 bigleaguers venezolanos.

Román G. de Gatineau Québec city Canadá, pregunta…: “Para su elección al Hall de la Fama, ¿será perjudicado Albert Pujols por haberse quitado años de edad; y por qué Vidal López no jugó en Grandes Ligas, cuando, según leo, destrozó a batazos a las Ligas donde jugó, Venezuela, Cuba, México y Puerto Rico?”.
Amigo Jeffie…: Nada tiene que ver lo de la edad con Cooperstown. Muchos otros peloteros se han quitado años de encima. En Cuanto a Vidal, fuimos grandes amigos. Lo ví jugar muchas veces. Tú no citas que también era tremendo lanzador. Después de retirado, trabajamos juntos en la Escuela de Policía del Junquito, él como mánager del equipo de esa institución y yo como profesor de relaciones humanas. No jugó en Grandes Ligas, porque era negro y nació antes de lo debido. Cuando Jackie Róbinson llegó a los Dodgers en 1947, Vidal ya había cumplido sus 29.

Amigo Ron…: Como el comisionado Rob Manfred y sus cómplices de las televisoras saben muy poco del beisbol, impusieron eso de los siete innings en doble juegos sin pensar en que la Regla ordena…: “Para que un pitcher, o un equipo, puedan acreditarse un ‘no hit’ debe ser, al menos, de nueve innings”.
Eso significa que, si el juego ha sido fijado a siete innings, debe de irse a ‘extrainnings’ y llegar hasta en noveno para que cuente.
Ahora, si es juego perfecto, en el octavo y el noveno pondrán el corredor de regalo en segunda. ¿Cómo será perfecto si quedan dos en bases?.
Manfred y sus cómplices son de una ignorancia y un atrevimiento galopantes, digno de los más conspicuos culopicosos.
