DALLAS-FORT WORTH, Texas — October 1, 2026 /Noticias Newswire/ —  Sandoval Armstrong, PLLC, a Texas law firm representing injured workers and accident victims throughout North Texas, is proud to join communities across the country in celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month, observed from September 15 through October 15.

This annual celebration recognizes the history, culture, achievements, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans. For Sandoval Armstrong, it is also an opportunity to recognize the particularly important role Latinos play in the economic and social fabric of Texas.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Hispanics and Latinos represent approximately 40.9% of the Texas population, making the community an essential part of the state’s workforce, businesses, neighborhoods, and future.

Across Texas, Latino men and women are building businesses, raising families, creating jobs, working in essential industries, and helping communities throughout the state grow.

“Texas would not be the Texas we know today without the enormous contributions of the Hispanic community,” said Héctor L. Sandoval, attorney at Sandoval Armstrong, PLLC. “Latinos are building businesses, working in our warehouses, stores, construction sites, transportation networks, and countless other industries. Their work, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit are helping move our state and our country forward.”

Recognizing the Latino Workers Who Help Keep Texas Moving

For Sandoval Armstrong, Hispanic Heritage Month also provides an opportunity to recognize the millions of workers whose efforts often take place behind the scenes.

From construction and transportation to retail, warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing, hospitality, and other industries, Latino workers are an important part of the workforce that keeps the Texas economy moving.

Sandoval Armstrong represents workers who have suffered serious workplace injuries, including employees of Texas employers that operate as nonsubscribers to the traditional workers’ compensation system.

The firm believes that recognizing workers' contributions also means helping ensure they understand their legal rights when an injury changes their ability to work, provide for their families, or maintain their quality of life.

“Behind every workplace injury is a person and, very often, an entire family affected by what happened,” said Warren Armstrong, attorney at Sandoval Armstrong, PLLC. “As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we also recognize the hardworking families whose effort and sacrifice contribute every day to the strength of North Texas.”

A Community Shaping the Future of Texas

The influence of the Hispanic community extends far beyond population growth. Latino entrepreneurs and business owners are creating companies, generating employment, purchasing homes, educating the next generation, and contributing to communities throughout Texas.

The U.S. Census Bureau has also documented the growing economic importance of Hispanic-owned businesses nationwide. In 2022, approximately 465,000 Hispanic-owned employer businesses operated in the United States, generating an estimated $653.5 billion in annual receipts and employing approximately 3.6 million people.

For Sandoval Armstrong, these numbers represent something larger than statistics. They represent families, workers, entrepreneurs, and generations of people whose ambitions are closely connected to the future of Texas and the United States.

Celebrating Heritage While Looking Toward the Future

Hispanic Heritage Month honors the generations who came before while also recognizing the contributions being made today and the opportunities ahead.

Sandoval Armstrong, PLLC joins businesses, organizations, families, and communities throughout Texas in celebrating Hispanic culture and recognizing the Latino men and women whose work, entrepreneurship, service, and determination continue to strengthen the state and the nation.
