El Llamado Clásico o Causa de Lesiones

Ramón Corro, de Santiago de Chile, pregunta: “Hasta el momento la hazaña más grande por Venezuela en el beisbol en lo colectivo, ha sido el título de campeón mundial de la pelota aficionada en 1941, ganado en La Habana.
“Si nuestro país logra conquistar el Clásico Mundial de Beisbol este año, ¿sería la mayor hazaña?”
Amigo Moncho: El llamado Clásico fue un invento desafortunado de Bud Selig cuando era comisionado, tratando de imitar al Mundial de Fútbol. Desde luego, imposible alcanzar el éxito de los futbolistas.
El llamado Clásico solo sirve para que se lesionen los estelares del juego. ¿O es que puedes decirme que consiguen algo más? Ganar el llamado Clásico, para mí, significa cero sobre cero.
