A VIP Experience with Lucía Méndez Sponsored by AARP
— Known as the 'Diva from Mexico,' Méndez to share lifetime lessons and memorable moments —
MIAMI, FL — July 21, 2022 — (NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE) — Atlantino, organizers of the virtual event “A VIP Experience with Lucía Méndez,” slated for viewing on Thursday, July 28 at 7 p.m. ET, announced today that AARP will be the presenting sponsor for the event.
Continuing Atlantino's series of VIP Experiences with key Latino leaders and influencers, award-winning journalist Mayra Acevedo will interview the legendary multi-faceted entertainer, Lucía Méndez. In a candid conversation with the Latino community, the prominent figure Lucía will give us a peek into her life backstage straight from her beautiful homeland of Mexico. She will reveal insights on her life, career, health, accomplishments, relationships, and share thoughts about aging, retirement, and more.
Lucía's career has spanned decades, as an actress in telenovelas and movies in addition to her work in music and as an entrepreneur. She's a two-time Grammy nominee and has many other awards and accomplishments. Her fan base can be found both across the globe and across generations as she continues to entertain her audience today.
“Having Latina icon Lucía Méndez join the VIP experience is important, as AARP continues to create meaningful, relevant connections with our 50+ Hispanic community. Lucía is an inspiration to us all. Her talent and countless achievements make us extremely proud to have her as part of the series,” said Yvette Peña, Vice President of Audience Strategy, Office of Diversity Equity & Inclusion at AARP.
“This series features a number of Latino icons that will share their life experiences with our audiences thanks to the generosity of AARP. Gilberto Santa Rosa was the first and now we have Latina superstar Lucía Méndez next. In the fall, just in time for Hispanic Heritage Month, we’ve added Charo. And then for the Winter, a private interview and plugged holiday event with Jose Feliciano, celebrating over fifty years of the classic song ‘Feliz Navidad’ to the series as well,” stated Ralph Paniagua of Atlantino.
The free one-hour virtual event will take place on July 28 from 7 to 8 p.m. ET. Registration is required to access the event. Event producers, Atlantino, will air this virtual event on the Vimeo platform, which will allow up to 10,000 attendees to participate in this live once-in-a-lifetime experience. Registrants will also receive a digital autographed photo of Lucía Méndez courtesy of Atlantino. To register for this free event, please click HERE.
Strategic partners, producers, and media allies for this event include Light Creations, Cosmo Content, St. Regis Hotel Mexico City, FizzyLabs, HypeSmack, and Producer Richy Miranda-Cortese.
