After more than 20 years of accomplishments in federal and local government, multimedia, and humanitarian rights, Dr. Joscelyn has received several national awards in communications, public relations, and social media. Recently, she was honored with the “Outstanding Leadership Award” for her significant contributions and expertise in marketing and digital strategy at the Summer Edition of the Marketing 2.0 Conference.
Dr. Joscelyn is the creator of award-winning parenting and lifestyle websites, joscelynramoscampbell.com and MamiofMultiples.com, which reflflect her dedication to promoting inclusivity and diversity. She has appeared on various television and media platforms, including CBS, NBC, NBC Latino, FOX, Univision, Telemundo, Huffiffington Post, and CNBC. Dr. Joscelyn actively serves her community in various roles, including as the elected Chairwoman of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board for the City of Groveland. She is also the Executive Director of Nathaniel’s Hope Buddy Break Respite Care at Hope International. Buddy Break is a free monthly program providing parents and caregivers a day out, while individuals with special needs—affectionately called "VIPs"—enjoy activities with a Buddy friend. Additionally, Dr. Joscelyn has participated as a host and delegate for Challenged Champions and Heroes (CCH), an organization founded by His Royal Highness King Dr. Clyde Rivers and Dr. Robin Lococo from iChange Nations. CCH recognizes the unique gifts and talents of individuals with special needs, their caregivers, and community supporters, including law enforcement and educators. Recently, at a CCH gala, Dr. Joscelyn was honored with the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Selfless Service Award, making her the second recipient of this prestigious acknowledgment. Dr. Joscelyn is also a dedicated advocate for special needs families and individuals suffering from chronic pain, having been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2019. Born in Brooklyn, New York, to Cuban and Puerto Rican parents, Dr. Joscelyn is bilingual and bicultural. She is raising a multicultural and multigenerational family alongside her military veteran spouse of Irish American descent.
