GROVELAND, FL — MAY 29, 2026 — (NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE) — Dr. Joscelyn Ramos Campbell, award-winning national spokesperson, multimedia marketing strategist, and bilingual disability advocate, was honored with the 2026 Woman of Impact (Kingdom Woman) Award during the annual Mood-Setter Social. This gathering is a community-centered celebration. It recognizes women who lead with compassion, positivity, purpose, and meaningful community impact.
The Mood-Setter Social was hosted by Pastor Jodie McCoy, Founder of Mood-Setter Conference and Events and First Lady of Hope International Church in Groveland, Florida. The event brought together women from Lake County and Central Florida for a powerful time of brunch, fellowship, encouragement, fashion, recognition, and spiritual renewal. The 2026 event was headlined by an inspirational guest speaker, Pastor Alexis Stephens Ministries, Inc. The program included a fashion show coordinated by Barbara Davis-Hudson, an in-demand fashion stylist. Created as a space for women to step away from their busy schedules, caregiving responsibilities, and professional demands, the Mood-Setter Social offered refreshment, encouragement, and celebration. The event was also lovingly supported by fellow honoree, Doris Shazier of Shazier Coaching & Consulting, LLC and Dr. Calandria Smith of Landi-Lou Productions.
“I am honored and humbled to have been named one of the 2026 Women of Impact,” said Dr. Joscelyn Ramos Campbell. “To humbly be called a ‘Kingdom Woman’ feels like an invisible embrace and nudge to continue a life dedicated to purpose and service. Especially when your life is dedicated to the service of others, while raising a child with special needs, and living with an illness yourself. Pain and grief have a way of making everything feel isolated and alone. In those moments, love, support, and the true Godly example of “you are welcome here” are vital. Struggles can be turned into victories. Tests into testimonies.”
Dr. Ramos Campbell expressed deep love and gratitude to her spiritual mentors and parents, Sr. Pastors, Dr. Tony and Jodie McCoy. “Hope International’s mission includes the words to change our surrounding community. Pastor Tony’s professional career includes being a Florida Gator. (He will always tell you University of Florida—UF is the best University in the world—LOL!) He is also a retired NFL player. The calling of Pastor was always in his life, but he chose to follow through with that purpose and calling. He could have rested on his already amazing accomplishments, taken care of his own family, and sailed on an orange & blue colored sailboat somewhere, like he rightfully deserved. Instead, he, Pastor Jodie, his children, and his mother did the exact opposite. They chose to care for others. The impact of that choice has positively shifted the lives of countless people around the world. This loving influence is now part of a generational legacy. It began over 20 years ago with the opening of a multicultural church and campus called Hope International."
“This recognition is not just about an award,” Dr. Ramos Campbell said. “It is about legacy, faith, community, and the continued call to serve. My parents raised me to understand that ministry does not end inside the church walls. It continues in neighborhoods, homes, schools, and families — especially with those who need care, advocacy, and belonging.”
Dr. Ramos Campbell was thankful to be supported at the event by the following fellow VIP (special needs and neurodiverse) mothers, bilingual advocates, and community leaders: Luzel Garcia, Founder of The Dream Academy, a K-12 school serving students with various abilities; Tania Santos, Entrepreneur and Leader with WeSpeak: Parent Support Group of Lake County, (originally founded by friend and community resource Kandi Lynn Alexander); and Barrie Martinez, Advocate, Speaker, and Owner of Amber Treasures at Universal Studios Orlando.
Through Hope Torchlighters and services that will be provided in the new Hope Wellness Center, Dr. Ramos Campbell continues to expand advocacy, inclusion, wellness, and family-centered support for special needs and neurodiverse families. The organization’s growing programs include Buddy Break Respite Care, Beacon of Hope Support Group, VIP Sunday, therapy-based family events, job training, and life skills development. Special Olympics partnerships, bilingual and Spanish parent education events, VIP Mom and VIP Dad gatherings, and community advocacy initiatives are also part of the offerings. “This is the work. This is the mission. This is the legacy. This is the impact,” Dr. Ramos Campbell said.
