#FIAP2022 launches the Grand Slam for creative excellence in Ibero-America
— The ranking will be a result from the sum of metals and Grand Prix won at: local, regional (FIAP) and global (Cannes Lions) festivals —
MIAMI, FL — July 27, 2022 — (NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE) — The Ibero-American Festival of Creativity 2022 (#FIAP2022) is launching for the first time the Grand Slam of the region, a ranking that will recognize the creative agencies most awarded in Latin America, Spain, Portugal, and the US Hispanic, giving each a numerical value proportional to the metals and Grand Prix they received at their local, regional (FIAP) and global (Cannes Lions) festivals.
This initiative come hand in hand with the alliances that FIAP has been doing with the main local awards in the region: Diente (Argentina), C de C (Spain), Locoto (Bolivia), Smarties (Brazil), Cúspide (Puerto Rico), Caribe (Panama), IAB Mixx (Chile), IAB Mixx (Colombia), LUX Awards (Ecuador), Círculo de Oro (Mexico), Tatakua (Paraguay), Premio Ideas (Peru), Festival CCP (Portugal), Desachate (Uruguay), Festival Volcan (Costa Rica), American Advertising Awards (US Hispanic) and FePI (Argentina).
As in the major world sports' tournaments, the Grand Slam will result from the adding up the awards accomplished at three levels of festivals: local, regional and global, showing a clearer picture of who are the most creative and innovative in the industry in Ibero-America. Its aspiration and difficult-to-achieve nature is due to the fact that in order to enter this ranking it is necessary to add at least one point by have being awarded at one of the three levels mentioned and participating in the FIAP.
"Any communication that wins at festivals has two and a half times more opportunities to be a successful communication for brands. And if that communication wins at a local, regional and global level, those possibilities increase exponentially", assured Daniel Marcet, CEO of FIAP.
The Grand Slam positions will be announced at the end of the year, tentatively in November.
