Por un defecto, Honda debe retirar más de 330,000 vehículos

MIAMI, FL — 28 de marzo de 2023 — (NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE) — Honda está retirando más de 330,000 vehículos debido a que las almohadillas térmicas detrás de ambos espejos laterales pueden no estar unidas correctamente, lo que podría provocar que el vidrio del espejo se caiga y aumente el riesgo de un choque.
Hasta el momento, no se han reportado accidentes ni lesiones en relación con el retiro anunciado por la Administración Nacional de Seguridad del Tráfico en las Carreteras (NHTSA).
La NHTSA dijo que los vehículos retirados no cumplen con los requisitos necesarios de visibilidad trasera.
Vehículos potencialmente afectados: 330.318.

Vehículos incluidos en el retiro:
Odyssey del 2020 al 2022
Passport del 2020 al 2022
Pilot del 2020 al 2021
Ridgeline del 2020 al 2021
Se espera que las cartas de notificación al propietario se envíe el 8 de mayo. Los concesionarios Honda reemplazarán los espejos laterales de los vehículos impactados sin cargo.
