The Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) Announces Call-For-Entries for The 2024 National ¡BRAVO! Awards
— Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the highest accolade for multicultural communications will also celebrate its 40th year as an organization —
MIAMI, FL — April 9, 2024 — (NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE) — The Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) announced today its call for entries for the 2024 HPRA National ¡BRAVO! Awards. Considered among one of the highest accolades in the Hispanic public relations industry, HPRA’s ¡BRAVO! Awards are regarded as an important industry recognition that celebrates the best corporate, agency, and nonprofit work in multicultural storytelling while advancing positive narratives about Hispanics/Latinos in the United States.
The submission deadline is June 11, 2024. A late deadline of July 9 will incur an additional fee. The winners will be announced at the National ¡BRAVO! Awards Gala on October 10, 2024, in Miami, Florida.
In celebration of the program’s tenth anniversary as the leading multicultural awards program in the industry, this year’s theme will be “Building Legacy, Together,” highlighting the collective effort and shared vision of HPRA and its partners to nurture and elevate the Hispanic community in various spheres.

Awards, we stand at the confluence of two monumental milestones: the 10th anniversary of the awards and the 40th anniversary of our esteemed organization,” said HPRA National President Sonia V. Diaz. “This year, more than ever, we are inspired by our theme 'Building Legacy, Together,' which echoes through every facet of our celebration. It's a tribute to the indelible mark that Hispanic communications professionals have made over the decades and is a forward-looking invitation to continue shaping an inclusive, vibrant future for our industry. As we honor the past and envision the future, we encourage submissions that reflect excellence in our field and embody the spirit of innovation and community that has been the cornerstone of our organization for four remarkable decades.”
Over the last decade, the HPRA National ¡BRAVO! Awards Gala has added a variety of categories to encompass the ever-growing area of multicultural communications, including categories that reflect the evolution of the profession, such as campaigns geared towards social equity and the leveraging of technology.
Categories and submission information
This year, teams can choose from 24 categories to submit their work. Entries will be judged by an unaffiliated panel of veteran and senior public relations professionals representing brands, agencies, nonprofits, trade publications, and academia.
The judges will evaluate each campaign on the merit of addressing each section of the entry, including a statement of the problem, objective, research, target audiences, strategy, implementation, creativity, and evaluation and metrics.
Finalists will be notified of the results by August 11, 2024.
The ¡BRAVO! 2024 categories include:
- Agency of the Year (Recognizes agency with the best showing of financial growth, project success, and client and employee satisfaction and retention. The submitting agency must also enter a client campaign in at least one other category)
- B2B Campaign
- Campaign of the Year (This campaign must be entered in two or more categories.)
- Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
- Digital or Media Platform PR Program
- Fashion & Beauty Campaign
- Film, Music & Entertainment
- Food & Beverage
- Healthcare & Nutrition
- In-House Team of the Year
- Influencer Engagement
- Integrated Marketing Communications Campaign
- Internal Communications Program
- Latin America Campaign
- LGBTQ+ Campaign
- Media/Virtual Event
- Multicultural PR Program (Campaigns driven toward two or more multicultural groups)
- New Product/Service Launch
- Non-Profit Campaign
- Public Affairs Campaign
- Public Education
- Social Equity
- Sports
- Technology
All materials are required to be submitted digitally through the HPRA National ¡BRAVO! Awards platform. Awards categories are open to all public relations, advertising, and marketing agencies, corporations, non-profit organizations, and/or practitioners who provide public relations services in the United States, including Puerto Rico.
Work must have been implemented between January 1, 2023, and March 31, 2024. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, July 9, 2023.
Entry fees and deadlines are as follows:
• Early Bird - May 7, 2023: HPRA Member $300, Non-members $395
• Deadline - June 11, 2023: HPRA Member $455, Non-members $550
• Late Deadline - July 9, 2023: HPRA Members $550, Non-members $695
