MIAMI, FL — December 1, 2023 — (NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE) — Ana G. Méndez University (AGMU) is an accredited, nonprofit institution of higher education that operates three campuses in the state of Florida (South Florida, Tampa, and Orlando) and offers a wide variety of academic programs in Spanish, English and bilingual through various modalities using emerging and innovative technologies.
AGMU promotes innovation, entrepreneurship, research, as well as appreciation and respect for diversity. Promotes comprehensive training through a focus on competencies for the benefit of the Hispanic and international community. Its resources support post-secondary, undergraduate, graduate and continuing education academic offerings, framed in the highest quality standards. The institution is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE).
Negocios Magazine interviewed José F. Méndez Méndez, president of Ana G. Méndez University, a respected leader who has presided over the institution since 2016.
“As a university institution we have sought a way to meet the needs of today's students. For this reason, our courses have the highest accreditations and are offered in an accelerated study modality to meet the expectations of this population. Our students are looking for a way to grow and achieve new opportunities, therefore, we are focused on providing them with an education of excellence in their language that meets the demands of today's world of work," said José F. Méndez Méndez, president of Ana G. Méndez University.
“For us it is always an honor to be able to interview people with academic and human quality such as the president of Ana G. Méndez university. This type of interview enhances the quality not only of our magazine, but also the educational quality in the United States,” commented Eduardo Hapke, editor of Negocios Magazine.
One of the problems or challenges that the Hispanic community has to face is the English language in universities. That is a point why a large number of Hispanics put a brake on studying. However, at Ana G Méndez the language is not an impediment to growth.
“Here we speak their language. That is one of the most significant barriers for those who come to the country with the genuine intention of progressing. That limitation does not exist here! In our institution they can access an education of excellence, receiving service and attention in their language. But more than that, it is a university of family tradition. It is the continuity of the dream of our founder, my grandmother, Ana G. Méndez, who forged this institution almost 75 years ago in Puerto Rico. Today, in Florida, we continue with that legacy, impacting young people and adults from Latin America and other countries around the world who come to this country to achieve their goals,” said José F. Méndez Méndez.
Journalist Eduardo Hapke joined forces with lawyer Karen Blanco and in 2013 they created Negocios Magazine, the only business magazine in Spanish in South Florida focused on Latino entrepreneurs. Every 2 months the magazine is published and distributed in South Florida. The magazine also has its website www.negociosmagazine.com, which has daily news updates and a large distribution of content on social networks.
In the month of March 2023, the Negocios Magazine website reached 1.5 million page views and it is expected that Negocios Magazine will reach 2 million before the end of the year. Negocios Magazine is also distributed through PressReader, a digital platform that has 7,000 publications around the world. Hotels and companies have access to this news platform. Negocios Magazine is also published on the issuu.com platform, where you can view the complete publication online.
Negocios Magazine is part of the media group Acta Diurna Urbis Group Corp. based in Miami, Florida, which also publishes Ejecutiva Magazine, Welcome to America, Salud & Buen Vivir Florida, Hispanic Time and Hispanic Time: Electric Cars Plus.
You can follow the interviews and news published in Negocios Magazine through their social networks on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X.
