A VIP Holiday Experience with José Feliciano Sponsored by AARP
— Feliciano to Share a Behind-the-Scenes Look at His Life & Legacy —
MIAMI, FL – December 9, 2022 – (NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE) – Atlantino, organizers of the virtual event “A VIP Holiday Experience with José Feliciano,” slated for viewing on Sunday, December 11 at 7 p.m. ET, announced today that AARP will be the presenting sponsor for the event.
Continuing Atlantino's series of VIP Experiences with key Latino leaders and influencers, award-winning journalist Mayra Acevedo will interview Grammy Award winning musician, singer-songwriter and recording artist, José Feliciano, from the Factory Underground studio in Connecticut. In a candid conversation with the Latino community, this legendary performer will give us a peek into his life backstage, his career and accomplishments; as well as his early life, health, thoughts on aging, and more.
Feliciano will perform musical interludes from some of his most popular songs, along with a few other surprises and a grand finale medley to coincide with this Christmas-time event. Known for his classic song, “Feliz Navidad,” Feliciano recently became the first Billboard Legend award recipient and was featured in a documentary on Telemundo and Peacock for his decades-long musical career. Today, he continues to entertain millions of fans across generations, even performing the National Anthem on Clemente Day at Citi Field in New York this year.
“We’re excited to kick off the holiday season with a performance by the award-winning singer-songwriter, José Feliciano. Many Latinos grew up listening to his iconic, ‘Feliz Navidad’ during our holiday celebrations, which went on to become a global classic. ‘”As we sponsor this interview, AARP looks to celebrate the season and share the happiness this artist brings to all,” stated Yvette Peña, Vice President Audience Strategy in the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
“This series has already featured a number of Latino icons, including Gilberto Santa Rosa, Lucía Méndez, and Charo sharing their life experiences with our audiences thanks to the generosity of AARP. We are excited to add this private interview and unplugged-style holiday event with José Feliciano, celebrating over fifty years of the classic song ‘Feliz Navidad’ to the series as well,” stated Ralph Paniagua of Atlantino.
The free one-hour virtual event will take place on December 11 from 7 to 8 p.m. ET. Registration is required to access the event. Event producers, Atlantino, will air this virtual event on the Vimeo platform, which will allow up to 12,000 attendees to participate in this live once-in-a-lifetime experience. Registrants will also receive a digital autographed photo of José Feliciano courtesy of Atlantino. To register for this free event, please click HERE.
Strategic partners, producers, and media allies for this event include Chaman Films, FizzyLabs, HypeSmack Soundwave Riders, and Miranda-Cortese & Sphere.
