White Paper Unveils Surging Demand for Green Cleaning Across the U.S. and Locally
— Groundbreaking report reveals health risks of toxic, traditional cleaners and benefits of eco-friendly alternatives —
LAS VEGAS, NV — April 22, 2025 — (NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE) — Avanti Group, Inc., owner of Avanti Green Eco Cleaning, has released a new white paper detailing the critical health, environmental, and economic impacts of cleaning practices, and highlighting the growing demand for green cleaning solutions. The report underscores the dangers posed by non-eco-friendly cleaning companies which introduce toxic chemicals into homes and workplaces, jeopardizing indoor air quality and increasing the risk of respiratory illnesses, asthma, and long-term chronic diseases.
“Green Seal certified companies are among the most highly trained cleaning teams in the nation, expertly using healthier cleaning products and practices that actively improve indoor air quality and the health and productivity of building occupants," said Taryn Tuss, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Green Seal. "Importantly, these products and practices also protect custodial staff, who in general are twice as likely to experience occupational asthma compared to other workers."
According to the white paper, traditional cleaning products release harmful chemicals called VOCs. These chemicals can increase asthma risk by 50% and cause wheezing by 40%. Over time, the health effects are as bad as smoking 20 cigarettes daily. It’s not just humans at risk; toxic cleaners also poison 4,000 pets every year.
“A non-eco-friendly cleaning company will most likely use these toxic products, and instead of creating a clean and safe environment, it will introduce harmful toxins into your home or office,” said Claudia Meneses, CEO & Founder of Avanti Green Eco Cleaning.
The report shows a rising demand for safer cleaning options. In Clark County, green cleaning is growing by 11.2% each year. A survey in Nevada found that 62% of eco-cleaning clients come from key groups. Across the U.S., more people are choosing green cleaning products, which are growing at a 21% annual rate.
Green Seal-certified products offer safer, eco-friendly cleaning options. They cut down on harmful chemical exposure, protecting children, pets, the elderly, and those with allergies. Green cleaning also benefits workplaces, reducing sick days by 3-5 per employee each year and increasing productivity by 5%.
The benefits of green cleaning are clear. While eco-friendly products might cost more upfront, they save money in the long run by protecting equipment, avoiding compliance issues, and improving health. Concerns about high costs are outweighed by these savings, plus better safety and productivity.
The global green cleaning market is growing fast and is expected to reach $7.1 billion by 2032, driven by consumer demand and stricter regulations. New technologies like enzyme-based cleaners and nanotechnology are making green products even safer and more effective. Switching to eco-friendly cleaning isn’t just about health. It supports sustainability, meets regulations, and matches the values of consumers who want toxin-free, clean spaces.
