Mueren seguidos en estos días figuras que fueron del beisbol en Grandes Ligas. Dejó de existir anteayer, Brian Matusz, apenas de 37 años, quien fuera lanzador zurdo con los Cachorros, 2009, y los Medias Blancas, 2009-2016. Récord, 27-41, 4.92.
En 2019, lanzó para los Acereros de Monclova, de la Liga Mexicana.
Amigos de Matusz, dijeron que pereció víctima de un infarto, pero eso no ha sido confirmado
