Pero lo que se dice de este yaracuyano de San Felipe, Venezuela, desde sus cinco años por las menores, es que ha sido muy bien educado. No solo por cómo se expresa, sino también por el comportamiento frente al mánager, frente a sus jugadores compañeros, frente al público y frente a los periodistas.
El Manager Badelli
El primer mánager de Luis en Grandes Ligas, en 2019, Rocco Badelli, dijo ante los reporteros de Minnesota:
“Arráez exhibe una delicadeza natural cuando habla, es tan respetuoso como cualquier embajador de una potencia mundial y como pelotero, se entrega ciento por ciento al equipo.

Pues, Luis batea con una facilidad comparable a la que demuestra un recién nacido mamando la leche materna.

“Lo que siempre he tratado, cuando estoy al bate, es ver la pelota lo mejor posible, desde que el pitcher la suelta. Y cuando llega la bola a mi área, rápidamente establezco si la puedo chocar con lo más grueso del bate. Eso es lo importante, puede ser un pitcheo en plena zona de strike o fuera del área del home. No importa. He conectado muchos hits contra lanzamientos en zona de bola mala.
