But he doesn’t appear among those mentioned by Jimmy Shapiro of BetOnline, which are: Carlos Beltrán, Alex Cora, Andy Green, Kai Correa, George Lombard, Joe Girardi, Rocco Baldelli, David Ross, Antoan Richardson, Buck Showalter, Don Mattingly, and Bobby Valentine.
Second Most Expensive Roster
The protests over Mendoza’s dismissal point out that if they were given the second most expensive roster, at $376.6 million, after the Dodgers, it’s because there are players on it receiving very high salaries. Juan Soto, $61.875 million (38 RBIs in 268 plate appearances); Bo Bichette, $42 million; Francisco Lindor, $34.1 million.

Entre tanto, ha pasado el mánager de los Mets al grupo de los desempleados de Estados Unidos, apenas a días después que un umpire tan barquisimetano (Guaro) como él y además tocayo, Carlos Torres, lo expulsara de un juego dos vecs en una sola protesta por lanzamientos.
Caballerosa Despedida
Ahora, lo que dice el caballero y respetuoso Carlos Mendoza en su despedida: “Mi agradecimiento para Steve y Alex Cohen. Son tremendos propietarios, quienes se preocupan por sus trbajadores y por los familiares. Estoy muy agradecido por la oportunidad que me brindaron con los Mets.
