The New York Mets announced that for the second year, Citi Field will host a Dominican Winter League game. The event will feature Águilas Cibaeñas and Tigres del Licey, who will face off in the final game of the “New York Cup” series in November. The three-game series will begin at Yankee Stadium on Friday, November 8 and Saturday, November 9, and conclude at Citi Field on Sunday, November 10 at 1:00 p.m.
Fans can purchase tickets starting on Friday, September 27 by visiting mets.com/LIDOM.
The game between the two winningest teams in Dominican baseball history will be followed by an extraordinary musical concert featuring popular Latin artists.
Last year, the Eagles swept the three-game series at Citi Field, but ultimately Licey earned their second consecutive championship in the Dominican Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) and their 24th in history.
