Ese Beisbol Interesa a Pocos en Guadalajara
El estadio de Guadalajara, ciudad lejana del Caribe por cierto, generalmente lleno cuando juegan los Charros en el beisbol de México, parece un cementerio, desolado, con muy pocos espectadores, aún cuando los mexicanos tienen dos equipos, dizque Rojos y Verdes.
Los camarógrafos no pueden evitar que aparezcan los millares de sillas vacías.
Y en la transmisión que mandan a Miami, una pandilla de fastidiosos que quieren ser oídos por alguien y una dama, quien supone que mientras más grite es mejor. Yo los soporté durante tres outs y cambié para el canal de las comiquitas.
La Buena Nueva, Desde Estambul
Estambul se incorpora al beisbol a través de un buen movimiento dirigido a niños y adolescentes. Ya juegan campeonatos anuales.
Ese es el único país del mundo, con la mitad en un Continente, Europa, y la otra mitad en otro, Asia. Los dos territorios separados por el estrecho del Bósforo, Mar Negro y Mar de Mármara.
