Las Cartas desde El Más Allá – De Santa Claus para el niño desconocido

¡Feliz Navidad!.. ¡¡Jo…jo…jo…jo!!.

Coral Gables, Florida (VIP-WIRE) – Curioso, ¿verdad?, que yo te escriba, cuando en esta época recibo tantas cartas de casi todos los niños de mundo. Pero así es la vida. ¿Qué le vamos a hacer?

Me imagino estás muy alegre, gritón y de fiesta por estos días, como todos los muchachitos en diciembre… Bueno, solo casi todos los muchachitos, porque hay algunos que no me reciben a mí, ni al Niño Jesús, ni a los Reyes Magos.

Incongruencias, amiguito. Después de tantos años de haber existido la humanidad, hay millones de padres y madres de familias, no preparados para afrontar las exigencias de esta vida. Y solo la preparación nos iguala, no son los bienes materiales.

No saber un oficio, una profesión, para llevar a la casa lo necesario, lógicamente es la base de la pobreza extrema, y donde hay pobreza extrema, no podemos ir nosotros tres a llevar regalos navideños.

Además, deseo hablarte de tus juegos de pelota, porque ya sabrá que soy amante del beisbol. Y estoy enterado de que tu papá te riñe cuando cometes un error, y hasta te ha cacheteado en pleno terreno, ante todos los chicos de los equipos, después de no haber bateado tú un tercer strike.

Él lo hace creyendo que es lo mejor en favor de tu juego y para bien de tí como persona. Él piensa que así es un buen padre. Pero, al contrario, es de lo peor. A tu edad, 10 añitos, debes jugar solo para divertirte, aún cuando seas strikeout, aún cuando no puedas recoger un roletazo.

Si te parece bien, muéstrale esta carta a tu papá y dile…: “Te quiero mucho. Y ya sé que tú también me adoras. Pero estás equivocado. No puedo hacer lo que tú tampoco pudiste, sino lo que está dentro de mis posibilidades.

“Si tengo condiciones para ser un estelar de las Grandes Ligas y hacerte multimillonario en dólares, ya se verá más tarde, cuando yo haya cumplido mis 18, esté graduado de secundaria y listo para ir a la Universidad”.

Mi niño…: Por supuesto que te sientes solo, abandonado y a merced del mal trato paterno, sin que nadie se atreva a defenderte. Por eso espero que este mensaje navideño te sirva de algo, y pronto sientas que tienes un padre tan amoroso y comprensivo como lo mereces. Como lo merecen todos los niños del mundo. Un padre que no pelée contigo, ni te dé cachetadas.

Así que, mis mejores deseos ahora y durante toda tu vida… Un abrazo de abuelo y un beso en tu inocente frente…Santa.
