BURBANK, CA — COMBATE GLOBAL recently announced the full fight card for its live televised Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) event ‘Mexico vs. USA Part II’, which will take place in Burbank, California, on Saturday, May 9.
The COMBATE GLOBAL fight card will be broadcast live in the United States at 10 pm ET / 9 pm CT in Spanish on EstrellaTV and Samsung TV Plus; live in English in the United States on Samsung TV Plus (COMBATE GLOBAL English channel); and live worldwide in English via the COMBATE GLOBAL YouTube channel.
The event will also be broadcast live in Mexico on Samsung TV Plus at 9 pm CT.

In the main event at a catchweight of 130 pounds, Gianni “Kriptonita” Vázquez (13-5-1) will represent Mexico against Kamron Ortikov (7-2).
Vázquez, 31, born and raised in Mexico City, trains in Irvine, California, under the direction of renowned MMA coach Colin Oyama.
Vazquez was scheduled to headline the first 2026 edition of ‘Mexico vs. United States’ on April 11, but his fight against Alvin Welch was canceled 48 hours before due to a medical issue with Welch.
Vazquez is the only fighter in history to have defeated world-ranked contender David Martinez, an achievement he accomplished in April 2021 by split decision at COMBATE GLOBAL.
Ortikov, 25, originally from Uzbekistan, trains in Sacramento, California, with Team Alpha Male, led by retired superstar Urijah Faber, and has international experience in countries such as Thailand and Abu Dhabi.
Both Vazquez and Ortikov have achieved more than half of their victories by knockout (T)KO or submission.
A welterweight (170 lbs) fight was also announced between the undefeated Jaden Ortega (6-0) and (11-8). Alan “The White Shark” Dominguez
Since his debut in GLOBAL COMBAT two years ago, Ortega, 23, from Spokane, Washington, has been unstoppable, defeating opponents with much more experience.
In his first fight of the year on February 26, Ortega defeated Ricardo “Woody” Chavez in the second round (0:26) with a kick followed by a flurry of punches.
Dominguez, 29, from Guadalajara, Jalisco, represents another experienced rival for Ortega.
Dominguez holds a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Also returning to action is undefeated atomweight (105 lbs) sensation Janet Garcia (6-0), from San Jose, California.
Considered one of the best in her division, Garcia will be the only American fighter to face a non-Mexican rival, Melissa Gomez (6-1) from Santiago, Chile, in a bout at a catchweight of 110 pounds.
In another fight, in lightweight (155 pounds), the experienced Ivan “Choko” Castillo (25-18), from Ensenada, Baja California, will face Ashton Charlton (9-3) from Spokane.
Opening the card will be a catchweight bout at 150 pounds between Jose “Ochito” Ochoa (3-1), from Mexicali, and the undefeated Adrian Segovia (2-0), from Los Angeles.
