Y Felipe, fue muy bien pagado en su época, porque era estelar. Por las ocho temporadas que jugó, hasta 1974, le pagaron 435 mil dólares, más lo que recibió por jugar en la Serie Mundial de 1962, más sus honorarios como mánager.
Y una pregunta ingenua…: ¿Cuántos de los mil 200 bigleaguers jugarían si no les pagaran?
