1995 Puerto Rico Dream Team

$15.99

1995 Puerto Rico Dream Team. They went undefeated in the Caribbean Series (beating Dominican Republic, Mexico, Venezuela) and then in a special game Vs. the then powerful Cuban National Team. That team was so super star laden that they left off Iván “Pudge” Rodríguez in favor of another young rising catcher, Carlos Delgado. Five of the top 10 Puerto Rican players who ultimately finished with the most hits in MLB history were on that team, including Hall of Famer Roberto Alomar, who was just coming off back-to-back World Series wins with the Blue Jays, as well as Edgar Martinez, Juan Gonzalez, Bernie Williams, Ruben Sierra, Carlos Baerga and Carmelo Martinez. This is not a picture on canvas, this is Latino sports history.

Very few knew about that game Vs. Cuba and there was no major coverage Those lucky enough to attend and see this almost secret game between this Puerto Rican super star  team and the powerful Cuban National team will never forget it. Puerto Rico won that game on a walk off homerun by Javy López (Atlanta Braves) beating Cuba 3-2. This 8×10 canvas is ready to hang in your office, home or anywhere reminding everyone who see’s it that Puerto Rico had a true Dream Team that was indeed the Caribbean Champions.
