BRONX, NY — The New York Knicks’ championship victory tour’s latest stop was on 161st Street and River Avenue Wednesday night with 2026 NBA Finals MVP Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart throwing out the ceremonial first pitches at Yankee Stadium.

Ahead of the Yankees defeating the White Sox by a final score of 10-5, the 2016 Villanova National Championship winning duo and now NBA Champions of 2026—immortal across all of New York—each fired a first pitch strike while receiving roaring cheers and a standing ovation from the Bronx crowd of 36,723.
For the Knicks’ 29-year-old superstar guard, Brunson tossed his first pitch to Yankees catcher J.C. Escarra as Hart, 31, a key part of the Knicks’ championship-winning core, threw his to infielder/outfielder Max Schuemann.

A parade on Thursday morning along the traditional Canyon of Heroes in lower Manhattan with record-setting crowds expected and a special ceremony to follow at City Hall with NYC Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani to honor the Knicks.
