His production and steady decision-making elevated his draft profile to becoming the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, selected by the Raiders. Josh Cuevas Poised for Rookie Impact
Mexican-American tight end Josh Cuevas reached the professional level as a dependable offensive weapon in college at the University of Alabama. He consistently showed top-notch athletic ability and a high level of competitiveness for the Crimson Tide, continually proving again and again to be a reliable receiving option that can create separation from defenders.
This type of player is highly valued by NFL coaches and scouts, as shown with the Baltimore Ravens selecting Cuevas at 173rd overall in the fifth round of the 2026 NFL Draft.
The 22-year-old could become a meaningful part of Baltimore’s passing attack as the season progresses, particularly if he earns the primary complementary role behind TE Mark Andrews.
It seems highly likely that his well-rounded game will get him lots of attention throughout the 2026 season.

Those strengths provide a solid foundation for the professional game.
