NEW YORK, NY — Carnegie Hall has seen legends for more than a century but on January 13th of 2026, it’s set to host a different kind of headline: the collision of sports royalty and concert-stage excellence in one of New York City’s most iconic rooms. New York Yankees great and Latin Grammy nominated guitarist Bernie Williams will share the bill with internationally acclaimed tenor Jonathan Tetelman for a one-night program that promises to blur the usual lines between Opera, Jazz, Latin and Pop Classics on Broadway.

Williams and Tetelman have spent years perfecting their craft. With Williams, he took his time building his second act with the same seriousness that made him a postseason fixture in the Bronx, earning a Bachelor of Music from the Manhattan School of Music and continuing to perform and record. Tetelman, meanwhile, brings the kind of vocal firepower that can fill a hall without a microphone and the artistic curiosity to meet Williams where Jazz harmony, classical technique, and New York swagger overlap.

And then come the familiar faces in the seats and on the stage. The night is expected to feature special appearances & performances from four-time MLB All-Star José Reyes and two-time NBA All-Star Stephon Marbury, along with many other notable names in the world of sports & music as the event leans into the theme of elite performance whether it’s a ninth-inning moment or a perfectly placed phrase in an aria.

Adding even more New York flavor is activist and violinist Katia Reguero Lindor—Francisco Lindor’s wife, who performed the national anthem on the violin at Citi Field before a Mets home game in September of 2025—with additional musicians tied to MSM, including alumni and current students making the concert feel like a citywide showcase.

With the date now less than a month away, the promise is simple: one stage, one night, and a sound that looks New York big, and bold, beautifully representing sports, music and culture.
