In a losing effort and not much offense from the Rays, Randy Arozarena (2020 AL LatinoMVP Rookie of the Year) hit a solo home run in the first inning and Isaac Paredes also hit a solo blast in the bottom frame of the ninth.

The Rays could only muster three hits in the game, the third came from shortstop Jose Caballero.

In another game in which the Rays bats were quiet, only getting five hits, three which came off starter Dane Dunning. Jose Siri had a double and home run, scored one run, knocked in two and had a stolen base.

The Rays embark on their first road trip, playing the Colorado Rockies and the Los Angeles Angels. They will be back home on Friday, April 12, starting a seven-game stretch at Tropicana Field against the San Francisco Giants (3) and Angels (4).
